Business Intelligence Analyst (Athol)

POSITION SUMMARY The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for building strategic, consistent, and optimal reporting for both Operations and business users.
Including but not limited to; identifying, creating and building reports to meet business needs, creating and maintaining SQL datasets, automating business data operations, and accompanying software support to employees as appropriate, managing upgrades and maintenance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Work with decision makers to leverage and automate reporting to drive integration and eliminate isolated functionality, multiple instances of same data, redundant and manual activities, improve efficiencies and lower costs.
Prepare, document and implement new or enhanced reporting practices.
Maintain structural integrity of databases and data warehouses.
Manage upgrades, test, troubleshoot, standardize, and improve processes of business applications and integrations.
Understand production practices and workflows.
Act as liaison to operations and other departments.
Participate in structured walk-throughs to review systems and provide training and support.
Maintain governmental compliance and participate in audits as needed.
Conduct technical evaluations on new products and provide recommendations.
Provide 24x7 on-call support as required.
Participate in the development of project proposals with emphasis on cost/benefits.
Maintain a production level work pace.
Other duties as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in a data related field with 2
years of experience in the IT field or combination of post-secondary technical training such as:
database design, providing technical support for software, SQL reporting systems, etc.
Technical skills:
Experience in data analytics, reporting, and application integration.
Possess working knowledge of computer systems and networks.
Skills:
Ability to follow through on short and long term projects.
Analytical Skills:
The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
Examples include critical thinking, problem-solving, and data analysis.
Organizational Skills:
The ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Examples include time management, multitasking, and project management.
Soft Skills:
Communication:
The ability to express ideas clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.

The ability to identify and solve problems creatively and effectively.

The ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test, post-offer pre-employment physical, and background check.
Valid Driver's License with acceptable motor vehicle history for business travel in company vehicle.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in a data related field with 4
years of experience in information technology related fields.
Expertise within the Microsoft reporting suite.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS Ability to sit and/or stand for shift, reach with hands and arms, stoop, squat, bend at the waist, kneel, walk varying distance, and climb stairs.
Bend at waist - occasional Twist upper body - occasional Stoop - occasional Repetitive use of hands - frequent for clerical duties Stand/walk - occasional Sit - frequent Vision - near and far correctable; depth perception Hearing - preferred for awareness of surrounding machinery, mobile equipment, emergencies WORK ENVIRONMENT Must be able to tolerate all weather elements, loud conditions, airborne particles (sawdust).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
